The project includes three development phases: the first phase was opened in 1996 and the second in 2004. The construction of the third phase of the business center was completed in December 2014.
The project included the restoration of buildings erected in the 1890s. The property’s location in the center of the city and close to residential and office buildings created some additional requirements which impacted the entire work process
One of the distinctive features of the building is the convergence of classical and modern architecture: the fully restored historical façade on one side of the building and the panorama glazing on the other. After dark the building is illuminated with soft backlights which were developed taking into consideration the architectural features of the building.
In 2013 Romanov Dvor became the first property in Russia to receive a score of “Very Good” according to the BREEAM in Use International standards, which confirms the project’s compliance with international environmental standards for Class A business centers.
The territory adjacent to the center has been adapted to create the most comfortable conditions for the work and leisure of tenants: modern landscape solutions were used in organizing the outdoor space, wireless internet was installed, and during the warm months of the year tables and chairs will be set up outside.
Romanov Dvor is not simply a business center. It is a new public space for Moscow – a point of attraction for city residents and tourists, tenants of the business complex as well as students and everyone else who wants to take a break from the pace of big city life
