RD Construction has finished the 20-month turnkey construction of a new hotel complex on time this September. The company served as general contractor and general design contractor.
During the design stage, RD Construction and InterContinental Hotels Group® (IHG®) implemented breakthrough engineering solutions that helped improve the building’s technological infrastructure and ensure the most comfortable stay for hotel guests. These solutions were implemented without affecting the work completion time. The modern technology of installing ready-made facade modules helped shorten construction times and close the building’s core and utilities to carry out finishing works during the winter
RD Construction offered IHG® new high-quality finishing materials for this project, setting a benchmark for the chain’s future hotels.
Holiday Inn Express Moscow-Paveletskaya is a 10-story building with an area of 11,150 sq. m. The hotel has 243 rooms to accommodate 477 guests, with 27 rooms on each floor from 2 to 10. The fine selection of furniture and interior design makes the general style of Holiday Inn Express Moscow-Paveletskaya feel like the United States in the 1960s and 1970s. There is a 1,700 sq. m. parking area for 44 cars on the second basement floor accessible via a car elevator.
Public transport stops, the Paveletskaya-Radialnaya metro station and the Paveletskaya railway station are within walking distance from the mid-range hotel.
According to Cushman&Wakefield, it is planned to build more than 20 hotels in Moscow in 2017–2019.
