On October 27, Marketing and PR Director of RD Construction Victoria Rozhok spoke at the conference “Big Problems of Small-Scale Redevelopment in St. Petersburg.” The event was organized by the Expert Board for Redevelopment at the Russian Managers and Developers Guild (RGUD).
At the conference experts had a lively discussion of prospective urban regeneration of St. Petersburg’s industrial sites as well as some projects of historic heritage renovation. They also assessed most promising for the placement of various property types in St. Petersburg.
Ms. Rozhok highlighted successful national and international practices of transforming industrial zones and facilities, including the overhaul of the hotel-business center Arktika in Murmansk, with RD Construction being the general contractor in that project. As a matter of fact, Victoria Rozhok is a member of the RGUD Expert Board for Redevelopment of Territories, where she is in charge of rebranding of new territories and buildings.
Our company regularly supports redevelopment events conducted by RGUD, since one of RD Construction’s competences is transformation of industrial territories. In most cities today industrial zones are located in the immediate proximity to apartment buildings and so the redevelopment of such zones is the absolute necessity. We support only quality and environmentally friendly projects which help denizens feel that their city is getting better.
