On November 9, the Expert Board for Redevelopment under RGUD will conduct the analytic conference “Living in Lofts: All Specifics and Target Audience” in the office of RD Construction.
In the context of industrial redevelopment lofts have gained a firm footing in the Moscow real estate market during several recent years. Fashion for premises of this type has already been shaped, with apartments rented both for office and residential premises. What’s the secret of their attractiveness? Who are the target audience for the given market and what is its outlook?
Alexei Strekalov, architect and partner of DUOARC will commence the event with a review of Moscow’s industrial zones, accompanied by the analysis of functional zoning and assessment of most promising territories for various property types.
Experts will then discuss urban sociology, the appeal of the apartments market to investors, and the system of loft housing classification. They will also compare the specifics and prospects of demand for loft apartments in Central Moscow and other districts of the capital city.
Best experts of Moscow will present real cases and analyze figures and statistics, to better understand what people lease and buy loft housing, the real demand for such projects, and how it is different from the demand for newly built projects.
Among the speakers are: Natalya Shatalina, CEO MIEL-Novostroyki; Karine Shmareva, CEO Intermark Serviced Apartments; Vyacheslav Antropov, Development Director of Contact Real Estate, and others. The discussion is moderated by Evelina Ishmetova who chairs the Expert Board for Redevelopment under RGUD, being also Consulting and Development Director at KEY CAPITAL, an investment company.
Not in vain was the office of RD Construction chosen as the venue for this event, given that one of the company’s key competences is redevelopment. RD Construction initiates and organizes events for the professional community on a regular basis, while the conference theme – formation and development of the loft housing market – is one of the results of industrial redevelopment.
